It annoys me how if you’re not good at Art or Music it’s okay because you’re just “not talented” in that area but if you’re not good at Science, Maths or English you’re “dumb”.

It’s because art and music aren’t things you need to use to contribute to society in the way capitalism expects you to.

And even if you have a degree that is socially acceptable, if you choose not to pursue it as a career, you are seen as a disappointment.
